About artist pages
Dream Ticket has a page for each band and artist. The artists themselves can claim their page and edit its content.
You can also register yourself
If you have not yet performed through Dream Ticket, you can create your own page from "Register as an artist". To prevent impersonation, the page is published only after our staff have reviewed its content. Until the review is complete, the page is not shown to others and you cannot apply to calls for performers. Please include information that lets us confirm your activity, such as an official website or social media accounts.
You can apply to events you want to play
Events for which an Organizer has opened a call for performers are listed under "Calls for performers" in your dashboard. Read the conditions and apply with a URL for your music and your expected draw. Your appearance is confirmed when the Organizer accepts. Applications cannot be sent to events without an open call, so Organizers do not receive unsolicited pitches.
Organizers may also reach out to you
Organizers can search for artists by name and offer them a slot. Offers you receive are listed under "Performance offers"; please reply by accepting or declining. The reason for declining is passed on to the Organizer.
Pages are created by Organizers
A page is created when an Organizer enters a performer while registering an event. At this point it is still "data created by the Organizer" and does not belong to the artist. It has no bio and no photo.
The URL you receive from the Organizer is the key to claiming the page
An Organizer can issue a management URL (one ending in ?t=) for each performer. Opening that URL shows your ticket quota and sales. No login is needed, because asking every member of a band to create an account is not realistic.
You can edit just the bio and photo without creating an account
From the management URL screen you can edit the kana reading, genre, bio, official website and photo. Your edits appear on the public page and in notifications to followers. Only the name cannot be changed, because search, follows and past appearances are tied to it.
Claiming the page with an account lets you do more
Pressing "Claim this page" on the management URL screen links the page to your account. You will then be able to reply to performance offers, agree to quota terms and receive ticket-back payments. You can also invite members and manage the page together. Once the page is claimed, the management URL stops working (because there is no way to know who else has it).
If you do not have a management URL
Open "Is this your page?" on your page and submit a request. Our staff will review it and get back to you. To prevent impersonation, please include information that lets us confirm your activity (official website, social media, events you have played, etc.). If you can get a management URL from an Organizer, that is the quicker route.
About ticket-back payments
Ticket-back is a payback for tickets sold beyond your quota. It is paid by the Organizer; Dream Ticket deducts it from the settlement to the Organizer and passes it on to you. It is not paid by the Company directly. To receive it, three things are required: accepting the performance offer, agreeing to the quota terms and registering a bank account. If any of these is missing, please receive it directly from the Organizer as before.
You only see your own numbers
Sales for the event as a whole and the quotas and ticket-back of other performers are not shown. Customers' names and contact details are not shown either (they exist only on the Organizer's screen).
